Use Kazaap and SHAZAM! Your Security is Gone
Topic: Anti-Spyware
Kazaap may be one of the strangest named rogue security programs out there.  This malicious application is malware, and tries to convince the user that it is a good thing.  Through fake system notifications, Kazaap tries to convince you that threats are on your PC, and that by purchasing their program you can be relieved of the problem, so that security is restored.  Complete hoax!

Kazaap will display security threat warnings and alerts in an effort to convince you that parasites and infections are on your computer.  If you purchase the product they offer, supposedly these threats will be removed.  Kazaap cannot detect any threat or parasite, and the product is worthless.  It is just a scam designed to rob people of their money.

How Kazaap may install on your PC

Kazaap may install on your computer if you do not have a reliable antispyware program in place.  Malware like this often comes bundled with other programs like freeware, shareware and even music or games, although you probably won't be aware of it.  You may also get this nasty application if you visit a malicious website, which will probably look completely safe to you.

Symptoms of spyware

Most spyware has common symptoms that are hard not to notice.  While you won't know when it actually installs, shortly thereafter there are some things you will notice:

•    Your PC may become slow or unstable
•    Your home page may change
•    Your browser sends you to strange websites
•    Constant bombardment with pop-up ads and security alerts
•    Spam e-mails related to your interests and online searches
•    New toolbar in your browser

If you notice a few of these things, you most likely have malware.

What spyware does

Spyware is not good for anything.  What is usually does is track what you do when online.  Your searches, websites you visit, and even personal passwords and other private data may be collected and transmitted to third parties.  Your PC may become slow because these rogue security programs use a large amount of system resources, and run constantly in the background.

If you have Kazaap on your PC, it needs to be removed immediately.  You may do this manually, but if you are not experienced, you are placing your computer at great risk of damage.

To remove Kazaap automatically, visit http://bluepenguinsoftware.com/spyzooka for a free scan with SpyZooka, the only antispyware tool that is 100% guaranteed and removes all traces of malware automatically.

Pccleaner - This Won't Clean A Thing!
Topic: Anti-Spyware

Pccleaner, for all its bluster, will not rid your machine of anything. In fact it is a rogue antispyware program designed to do nothing more than make your wallet lighter, by conning you into buying its “fixes” that will in reality fix noting, but in fact bring you even more problems. Until you see this kind of thing face to face, you aren't aware of just how convincing it can be to get you to download its programs, which will make your computer very, very sick.

Pccleaner usually gets on your computer by a Trojan such as Zlob or Vundo or a bad video codec download. It then begins setting up shop on your PC and starts presenting you with popup advertisements that beg you to deal with all the viruses and spyware that Pccleaner has found for you, all of which are fake. This is all done to get you to buy their upgrade that will sanitize your computer from all these threats. Once you are thoroughly convinced and do this, you then proceed to download even more spyware and adware onto your computer, and many of these programs are much worse than even Pccleaner, and many of these programs can and will search your computer for all your personal data, which will then become the mother of all online nightmares, as your banking information, credit card numbers and more are available for the data miners to abuse.

Trying to get Pccleaner off your machine by yourself is problematic, since unless you are a computer geek with loads of time available, you are almost certain to miss files that enable Pccleaner to reinvent itself, which makes the whole thing a waste of time. A much better solution is to get a legitimate antispyware software solution such as SpyZooka, which will rid your computer of all traces of Pccleaner and all its buddies. It comes with a 100% spyware removal guarantee and will get your machine back to speed quickly!

AdRotator, An Uninvited Guest!
Topic: Anti-Spyware
AdRotator is a type of adware that finds its way onto your computer usually by virtue of being bundled with other software you may download, or as part of a freeware package. Many times users unwittingly download many more problems than they bargain for, particularly when utilizing free downloads. This is just food for thought. Free isn't always a good deal!

AdRotator sets itself up to rotate advertisements on your computer. It monitors your web surfing habits and deliver up what it has as the most relevant, which usually isn't all that targeted, which should be a clue in itself. AdRotator has been known to install as part of an ActiveX drive-by download, which makes it more difficult to find or detect. AdRotator can also be a conduit for other malicious software installs, and can hijack Internet Explorer search pages to wherever it has ad content awaiting, usually a porn site.

Signs that you have a problem with adware like AdRotator include numerous popups and popunders, as well as a slower web browsing experience and generally a much slower computer.

In order to get rid of AdRotator you either need to be extremely skilled at ferreting out all the places that AdRotator may have deposited itself, or very lucky. It's very possible that when attempting to remove all traces of a program like this from all your Windows registry files you may inadvertently take out something that you need to make your computer function. This is not good.

Much better to let the pros handle this, and by that I mean taking advantage of a top notch antispyware solution, the best of which I know of is SpyZooka. SpyZooka comes with an industry-leading 100% spyware removal guarantee. Head over and take their free scan, and see just how fast you can get your computer back to normal again!

Anti-Spyware FYI - 3 Ways Vundo Can Attack Your Computer
Topic: Anti-Spyware

There are different versions of the Vundo Trojan horse. None of them are good, but some are worse than others.

Some, for example, do a better job of sticking to your computer. They do a better job of fighting anti-spyware removal. How? By attacking your computer!

It may, for example, disable your Windows registry editor. Even worse, it might disable your task manager.

It can also attack your icons. It will make them suddenly disappear, then reappear just a little bit later. This has the annoying effect of stopping whatever programs you are running from your desktop. The taskbar (all the icons at the very bottom of the screen) will usually disappear along with the icons.

Finally, even if it doesn't disable your icons, it will often keep you from using Google's search engine. The page will just hang there. Vundo knows you want to look up how to remove it!

Anti-Spyware FYI - Vundo and Pop-ups
Topic: Anti-Spyware

Pop-ups are some of the most noticeable symptoms of a Vundo Trojan horse infection. These pop-ups will advertise what are known as “rogue antispyware” programs. But that name is misleading because these really aren't ANY kind of anti-spyware programs. Unless you count “fake” as a kind of program!.

These programs will at the very least take your money. But they may also infect your computer and lock you out of control panel and “my documents”! They may show you fake security alerts, and will almost certainly slow down your computer.

Many claim that there is system deterioration going on and that their “registered” versions are needed to fix the deterioration. This is often reinforced by the background screen being changed to look like an installation window. This window will then say that there is adware on the computer.

Ignore Vundo's “product recommendations” and get some real anti-spyware instead!
