Advancedantivirus2008 Will Scam You

If you encountered Advancedantivirus2008 you need to be aware that you have encountered a rogue security program that will cause your computer and you several problems. These rogue security programs claim to scan and remove any malicious software (malware) but cannot do either. These programs can only download malware onto your hard drive without you knowing. They then have the ability to transfer your personal and confidential information to their programmers. Your information is then used for their own personal profit.

You most likely encountered or will encounter Advancedantivirus2008 while surfing the internet. This program runs in the form of pop up ads. However, they will not appear to be your run of the mill pop up ad. These programs are carefully designed to look like a part of your operating system or some other trusted program. They will present a warning page that is designed to scare you into clicking for a free scan of your computer and then scare you into buying their full version of their program for a fee.

The problem here is not the solicitation of their full version program for a price. The problem will come when they are able to record your key strokes to get your important information that you may be using to fill in online forms or other things on your computer. They can then take this information and profit off of it without you knowing that your identity has been compromised.

Once you click ok to the free scan, they are able to download from here. Your clicking ok gives them access to your hard drive. However, you will be watching their free scan that is only showing false results. They will have running lists of so called dangerous programs that are on your computer. Many of these rogue security programs will show you programs that are essential to your computer running correctly, because most of these programs will be existent in all computers. This free scan will then be used to insist on a purchase of their full program. Either way, you have already been infected. If you buy this you will be hoping for the impossible because they cannot remove anything. This is just a trick.

Now that you have the Advancedantivirus2008 on your computer you will begin noticing changes. Your homepage and other settings may change in order to take you to more advertising pages. The program will also show you multiple pop ups in the form of security notices which will drastically slow down the speed of your computer. Plus, your information is at risk.

There is no need to fret. There are companies with experience removing these malware programs. You cannot remove it yourself because the program hides and renames files in order to linger on your hard drive. Look for a top rated company that can offer you a 100% guarantee on their services so that you can be confident that your information will be safe after they work their magic.
